Location: On the water | My son-in-law has recently purchased an 18-foot Lund Pro-V with a 175 Verado with a 21 pitch Stainless Prop and a 9.9 4-stroke. The problem is that at slow speeds, the boats drifts back and forth and doesn't steer straight, you have to keep correcting the steering, but at higher speed its steers fine. Anyone know what the problem could be. Thanks. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Too much keel in the water usually does that. Trimming it up, even at slow speeds, lifts the keel up and the boat should steer better. |
