Look for the Pewaukee Reports on this site. It is a page or two back.

Trolling and casting are both very good at this time. Bucktails burned are getting action. Trolling also is working good. The west end of the lake is good. The center or narrows is also producing fish. The east end is aslo now heating up with the lower pleasure boat traffic.

Check out some of my reports on my site for lots of info over the years on Pewaukee. You can go back lots of years if you use the REPORTS link and go through the years and months.

I fished Pewaukee Lake this am, had one aggressive follow that went round and round but only nipped at the bait- cowgirl. A ton of boats on the east weed flat chucking cowgirls. Wtemp 73

A few of my observations on Pewaukee the last few weeks:
Most action I had was in 6-12 fow
Big algea bloom last week on west end, seems to be clearing up
I had action on bright and natural baits, mix it up with the conditions
We aren't exactly having the best fishing weather this last week or this coming week. HP, blue skis, no wind, and if any it is out of the east.

There are a lot of fish in this lake, but it gets pounded on a regular basis, a lot of uncooperative follows for me this year. Check out www.benkueng.com for more reports and past info, Mike has a great site too. You could stop in at Smokeys bait shop too and see what they pass along.

Good luck

Fish the weed lines in and use black bucktails, if you fail to see fish try a slower approach using Suicks or Phantoms casting just over the weed line into deeper water.
