I'm proud to announce to new offerings for the Ashton Auction!!!

Brad Breuer and Brad Breuer Guide Service have donated a 1/2 days guided trip to chase fat fall muskies in the northwoods of either Vilas or Oneida counties. It's Muskie Country in its glory, a chance to stick a fish at it's greatest girth! To find out more about his service and what you can expect, please see his website at breuerguideservice.com!

Don Pfeiffer, recent winner of the Eagle River PMTT event has donated a full days guided trip (in 2003). Currently the leader for Top Gun on the PMTT, this is a great chance to learn a lot from a great stick on his home waters of Eagle River!

Richard Collin of Ottawa River Trophy Muskie Charters has donated a full days guiding, for later this year! In 1996, Mr. Collin discovered a pattern that help him catch a total of 45 fish in 161 hours with 14 over the 44 inches legal mark as well as 4 over 50 inches. In July of that year he caught 4 thirty pounders in one hour. If there is ANY place on the planet to stick that 50"er, and anyone to do it with, this is your chance! To check out what you can expect when YOU WIN this offering go to www.trophymuskiecharters.com

Thanks in advance to both Don, Brad, and Richard! I look forward to announcing more and more offerings for the auction!

Well I hope all of you muskie boys and girls are saving your pennies big time for this next auction...our target is going to be $10K, gotta beat out the the $8500 from last one!!!

Great news!!! Captain Larry D. Jones and Mostly Muskie Charters have volunteered a One Day Charter for Two People for 2003 season, based on availabile dates, and a free stay at an area motel before your date on the water. Just a little background on Larry: been chasing muskies on the Niagra River and Lake Erie for over 25 years, with Fall of 1998 seeing two muskies over 53" with 27" girth; both over 45 lb. in ONE HOUR; followed by a 53 1/2" with 28 1/4" girth weighing in at 47 lb. the following day. In 1996 Capt. Larry caught & released 112 muskies of his own for 1490 points. You want a chance at a trophy with a master of his waters....save your pennies and be ready to bid HARD for this one! For more information on what to expect on your day (after YOU WIN this contest) go to http://www.mostlymuskies.com

Thanks guys for bringing this up to the top....but did you think we were DONE with more stuff? NNNNNNNNOOOOOOO WWWWWAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!
Got a few more things to add....

Pastikas (http://www.pastikas.com) in the Hayward area has just blown me away by their generosity! They have offered to contribute:
4 Billy Finn Bucktails
10" Hughes River Shaker in Flourescent Orange Okoboji Perch
A BRAND NEW NOT RELEASED YET TO THE PUBLIC Eddie Bait Flap Tail
6 HunterTails bucktails (they are no longer made, but if you have a chance at these tails, you WONT be disappointed!)
Pastikas has been more than generous with these offerings, make sure to check out their website, but for some more info....Pastika's Sport Shop has been in business since 1921, making it Hayward's oldest and most popular Bait and Tackle Store. We are dedicated to bringing our customers the very best selection tackle available.
Check them out, they've got a great website, and more than a few hard-to-find baits!

A little less known name in the Muskie world, Reese's Country Store (the main retailer for the Hughes River Product Line) has donated a 10" Hughes River Shaker....not just any bait, but a black/mother of pearl collector series! A total of 8 of these baits were made, and this is numbered 5 of 8, and is dated 6-1-02. If you are interested in getting a Hughes River bait, call Roger Park at Reese's at 304-679-3502, he's probably got the most at any one time....
*Pastikas also carries the HR, just in case Reese's doesn't have in stock with what you need

*more to come....guranteed! Got another major "name" in the Muskie World that we're workin on!

Did you think we were done? Did you think we had found enough items to get ourselves to that $10,000 goal? NNNNNNOOOOOO FFFFFFFRRRRRIIIIICCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIINNNNNNN WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!
Just works been tough, I got a flat tire, it was a hurricane, a flood, I SWEAR TO GOD IT WASNT MY FAULT!!! (whoever can think of the movie that 2nd part is from gets to.....see pics of me....in my snowsuit, sorry to scare you there!)

Paul/unfortunate one has GENEROUSLY donated out of his own private holdings: 3 magnum BullDawgs,(all unused),colors
are walleye,black/yellow,and black/silver!!! In addition, he is donating 3 smitty cranks, though I don't know the colors just yet. Those dawgs have my name on 'em I think!

Kyle aka. Kly has offered to make up a set of 3 homemade bucktails, made to order, both color and size. Anyone need a black blade with a hot pink tail? Or maybe a pink blade with a hot green tail? If you can dream it, he'll make it!

Muskie-E is going to be donating: 4 pack of tails from Musk-e-Tails!!!
1-Perch Rubberhairy
1-Black tiger Rubberhairy
1-e-Tail .....Perch
1e-Tail........Sucker
Isn't perch the #1 baitfish for muskies just about anywhere? God knows 'skies are dumb and chase fast whirling blades with pieces of deer following....why not make'em tricked a LITTLE more by making the tails look like SOMETHING real! Bring on the bids...

Esox69, who for the life of me I can't remember his board name (E69 is his AOL handle) is going to be giving:
1 original 9" grandma; prism perch, never used, UNRATTLED!
1 butt pole tackle box, with 6 tubes.
I know those clearvision systems are somewhat long on the $$$$ and who can find an never used REAL grandma in any color?

Thanks guys!!! Keep it coming boys and girls, me and my crack team of annoyers and soliciters will keep the guides and tackle shops coming......but the board member donations are going to help just as much!!!
