Location: APPLETON, WI | Is Chippewa the only flowage in northern Wisconsin that's a decent musky fishery? Or is there another one...? I want to plan a trip next month with a couple friends. Looking for a decent body of water for both action and size... |

| many...most darker water, generally good shallow bucktail/topwater lakes. one example is gile flowage in far northern wisc. i think howie meyer guides this one. i hear late summer into early sept is a hot time to go to such lakes. |

| Cant go wrong with the Chip this year fishing has been phenomenal, Indian Trails has some really great fall specials and would be worth a peek, great resort with a rich history and good karma..great local guides as well that haunt the Little Red Bar, check out Pete Rich, young buck with really great passion and results. |
