| I am starting to look for my own boat and have a pretty good idea of what brands I am considering, but I was wondering if you all could post some pics of your outfits. We all will then not only get to see your boat, but we will be able to see how you have it rigged which may give some of us something new to think about. I look forward to seeing the pics.
Thanks,

That's a nice ride, and cool idea with the video. That would be a tad large for my storage space. Thanks,

Thanks, and I remember your episode. Nothing personal, but I would prefer not to jinx my motor with those parts.
Yeah, I like the motor as well. Runs like a raped ape (I can tickle the 60 mph mark), but wish it wouldn't smoke so much at start up, but you know what they say...it's a 2 stroke. |

| i purchased the boat with somethings done .it needed a new transom /new wiring and a control panel with some fabrication to mount and relocate things.turned out to be a fun project.it took a year to finish.i did spring for a new outboard.the one that was on it had a bad water pump and rev lock mech. and showed signs of over heat. |

Location: Twin Cities Metro | Here is a good example of a smaller boat you can make into a great muskie boat. This is my 14ft deep and wide I use alot when fishing by myself or fishing two guys on smaller bodies of water. Great little boat when set up right and it saves me a ton gas compared to my Mirrocraft EXP

| Cool pics everone, keep them coming. I too am in the beginning stages of deciding what type of boat I am going to buy. I is going to have to be used, but I need something with some decent room (2 kids) and it has to be in very nice condition....I am very picky.

| Why did Ranger stop making the console 618? That is a perfect musky rig IMO. I'm in the market for a new rig and that would be at the top of my list. |

| probably weren't selling enough 618 consoles.
You can still find 2009 618 consoles at some Ranger dealers, new on the showroom if you want one go get one!

| Good grief you guys have some sweet rigs....some day....some day. Here is mine....just went through a total gutting and makeover in 9 days....gotta mount the bow mount troller and it's done. This thing had no floor when I gutted it. Half the rear deck is removable if needed, and when it's in place the rear seat pops right out and stows under the open part of the deck for an unobstructed deck. Already got some slime in it last week too! (I will be getting a new net...the one in there is just for show).

I started my musky fishing career fishing out of a 1985 sea nymph fm161 with a 50 hp force on the back. The fish don't know what kind of boat you got until your taking there picture from inside of it.
P.S. I'm a plumber and a welldriller.

Location: Hayward, WI | Here's mine. 2000 Alumacraft Navigator 165. 50 4 stroke Merc. Lowrance 520's at the bow and tiller, and a 70lb Minnkota Powerdrive V2. I should have taken the pictures without the boat bumbers and other junk laying around in it, but you get the idea.
Makintrax, my first boat was a 1995 Sea Nymph BT 165 with a 40 Evinrude tiller. It wasn't pretty, and it wasn't fun in big waves, but plenty of fish of all species visited it during the 5 years I owned it.
Shoot2Kill. I love the interior of that boat! Looks like a great use of the space. I like seeing rebuilt boat interiors. Lots of really good ideas.

Curlytail....love your Alumacraft....the ideas for the interior of my boat came from an Alumacraft just like yours! They look very similar huh! |

I really shouldn't be jealous - paid cash so no check to write every month. As long as the boat is reliable and gets me to where the fish are in safety and somewhat comfort I feel golden. Anything over and above that is just gravy! Probably a good idea to put my "school of hard knocks" lessons into a lesser boat anyway. |
