Subject: Corvalus 400 Palm Side End Cap Removal

Location: Nebraska		Finally down to cleaning and lubing my last reel. Shimano Corvalus 400. Crank side is done. Really easy reel to work on so far. That is until I moved to the other side. I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the palm side cover. On the schematic, it appears that there are two screws holding on the plastic button from the inside and that holds on the cover, but after removing the screws I failed to be able to remove the plastic disc in the center.

I must be missing something obvious. Any help?

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160		ck to see if the side plate screws on ???? no other screws U see from the inside ??? GOOD LUCK
