Heading to the cabin on lake Nokomis with my son again. Plan on hitting Nokomis/Bridge just a bit & then off to Mohawksin, Boom, Cresent, Jersey Flowage & a few up in Vilas CO if we have time. He's so due & I got a good feeling looking at the weather report. Last trip we got pummeled with high winds & driving rain for almost the entire week, but he held his own & fished through it. The Muskie gods will shine on this kid for that & I plan on putting him in the best possible position to make it happen. I will hold my casts back & give him the first shot at spots on the spots. To see a kid develop a passion & enjoy something that much feeds my passion as well.

Be safe & fish smart all..

Headed out the door to film a river segment with Tanner Wildes and Bill Buechner over the next 3 days. Hopefully the fish won't be camera shy!

I'm heading back to my old stomping grounds, Pelican Lake, WI.! Maybe I will get my first 50" after 35+ years of "somewhat" serious pursuit. I've lived and fished Muskies in Minnesota for 10 years and have not been blessed with the gratitus 50"! I've come close a few times, but it would be great to get it out of Pelican. As Mr. Worrall would say..."A big old ugly brown fish" would push me over that hurdle and add to The Joe Fittante Retirement Fund! Do you think he would give me discount since he would just need to use a roller brush to paint a hunk of graphite?
