Location: Smith Creek | Man that's tough! Did you know you were camera-less when you went out or did you find out after you caught it? The latter happened to me and it was pretty quiet in the house for a while after that. You'll get another (fish) |

Location: north west wisconsin | I knew the good camera was gone but I thought I had a backup in the drybox, the good thing is that the fish is in a 100 acre lake that no one musky fishs but me |

Location: WI | Congrats on the small pond monster! Two years ago I released a 50" without a picture. Many, many winter nights I thought about that. |

Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | I know what your feeling like, I had caught a 46"r (PB) in my friends boat with no camera. A boat ahead of us saw the fish and came back to take a look, since they had just left the spot, and took a picture on his cell phone. He sent it to my wifes phone and her service wasn't allowing pictures, frigging bummer. No picture of a nice fat girl to put on my wall, just a vision on the back of my eye lids.

| I'm almost always fishing alone but I think my approach about missing pics may be changing - a little. It doesn't bother me as much as it used to.
This spring I caught two nice muskie (nice for New Jersey), a chunky 44" and a nice 47". The 47" is a personal best and was caught about a month after the 44".
Thanks to a nearby kayaker I have a great series of photos of the 44" fish.
When I caught the 47" it was on a figure 8 in very clear water and I saw everything unfold right before my eyes. That memory is burned deep. I didn't get mad about no photo, because I feel confident I will have the opportunity to get to 48" in the waters I fish AND the great photos of the earlier 44" are mine.
On a side note: There was also something very relaxing about measuring and releasing the 47" without the extra pressure of getting a photo while flying solo. |

Location: Kenora, Ont | My biggest fish yet is a 51 1/2 " fish. I think my buddy in the boat was a little more excited than even I was. Three shots of this fish, the first two I am decapatated, the third I see only half the fish. Tres brutal! |

Location: ROckford IL | I hear ya, the day we got that 47 out of a local honey hole, I had my head camera on board, the batteries crapped out on me when I went to run it, would have had the whole thing on film which would have been cool to have, luckly I had my digital in the boat that day. |

Location: Northern Wisconsin | same happened to me. was staying at a cottage on a small lake. i went out early in the morning by my self. realized i didnt bring the camera so i went back to the cottage to grab it. As soon as i walked in the door all the donuts and chocolate milk caught my attention and distracted me. well i finished eating and went back out to fish, only to forget the camera. i didnt realize i forgot it until i hooked and landed my personal best 46 inch musky. it bothered me the rest of the year and all winter because i didnt get to fish much that year |
