Location: Madison, WI | Another new one, still working on the painting. It doesn't glide as much as I would like. I realize my gliders need to be from thicker stock. I'm considering adding a lip to this guy. I hope you enjoy

Location: Oregon | That wood looks thick enough to me. Move the weights just behind the front hook to just in front of the front hook and I bet it will work for you. I would also suggest you use a larger drill bit so that you can keep the weight low in the lure body.
