My parents always told me not to wish my days away. But the next 16 days can't come soon enough.

please take a moment to check out some of our Outing speakers and sponsors:

Spring Bay Resort
http://www.springbayresort.com/
or 1-800-847-5253 (Reservations only, please)
the best resort, the greatest hosts, the ideal muskie lake. 'nuff said.

Steve Amundson, guide
(218) 666-5607
Steve will be available for guide services during the week at very reasonable rates. he is the manager of Spring Bay Resort, so he's fishing the West Arm almost every day and he has the latest patterns going.
contact Steve to book a day during the outing!

Okuma
http://www.okumafishing.com/home.php
Okuma has been a great sponsor for MuskieFirst events, and their reasonably prices fishing equipment is winning a place in many fishermens' lineups. their new 8'6" and 9'3" rods will be on display during the outing as well as some great prizes.

Glittertails
http://glittertail.com/
Jim Reuter makes in-line spinners that put quality first at competitive prices. the lineup of double-10s and double-8s will be demonstrated by Michael Winther along with great lure giveaways and gift certificates. lures will be available for purchase.

Muskie Mojo
http://www.muskiemojo.com/
The world famous Weagle will be demonstated (ever wondered how to do the death march or make the "swoosh"?) as well as it's cousins in the Mojo lineup. Baldy's even got one or two surprises in store for you!

Matt Snyder, guide
(618) 303-6056
fishing Vermilion every day means getting dialed in on the fish and staying there and we'll all benefit from Matt's tips. he's already booked with outing participants for Saturday and Sunday, but at this point he's available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Musky Armor / Llungen
http://muskyarmor.com/
from bucktails to crankbaits to protective gear, Musky Armor is your one-stop shop. Matt Snyder will demo what's available including the new prototype muskie rods designed by Chad Cain!

Black River Rods
http://blackriverrods.com/
a new entry into the muskie fishing rod market, Black River features a complete lineup of muskie rods in lengths and actions designed to meet the needs of all muskie fishermen. Jason St. Mary will demonstrate this affordable option for quality rods...and you might even get to take one home!

By request, I will be bring a small quantity of fresh 10" Perkas. I've been known to leave a few behind every once in a while. Taylor and I are coming up on Wedneday but have to leave on Thursday so she can get mentally prepared for the start of school.

Taylor and I will be on the road before the sun comes up
We'll give you updates if there are any. A little bird told me that some nice fish fell to gliders last week. That really ticks me off Gliders don't suck in my boat.
Everybody else, have a safe trip, and we'll see you up there.
