Location: West Bend, WI | Nice find. Once, I found a box full of musky baits in great shape. Some kind of rare. Old strykers, believers, topwaters. Total about 25 baits and the box. I bought it for $20. You never know what you will find at yard sales. |

Location: Hayward, WI | WOW! I rarely go to those sales. When I do, they seem to only have Grandma's decorations and baby clothes. If I do go to a sale that has "guy stuff," they always seem to know what the stuff is worth, and ask about 10% more.

You can coat/treat your own net for about $10. There's several products on the market that you can get at most hardware stores that will do the job.

Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | There's a couple of different products out there that work. I believe one is called Rubberize-It. I can't remember the other one. I'm sure someone else will know. I haven't used either one myself. But my brother used Rubberize-It on a net about 10 years ago. If I remember right, I think my brother told me that he filled up a bucket with the Rubberize-It stuff and soaked the net bag in there for a short time. He then hung the bag from a tree to dry. Use rubber gloves, I know he said it was pretty messy. I was impressed with the job this did on his net. Other than the color he used, it looked and felt just like the treated bags on the market.
I believe there's a spray on version as well. But I've heard others say not to use it.
