Location: Medford, WI | Coach, I haven't been over in Price county at all, but I've fished in some clearer lakes around Minocqua (just east of LDF) and the water temps on those lakes were just above 70 degrees this week. The rain/cold front seemed to have brought them down below 70 again, but I would say 70 degrees give or take 2 degrees for this weekend.
The Pike/Round Chain is always a fun one to fish. And, although I've never fished it, the Phillips Chain seems to be pretty hot this year. If you're looking for action, head over to Butternut Lake. Just talked to a friend who fished it for 2 days and they caught 7 'ski's between the two days.
