Location: indiana | heading back up there is the first thought on my mind when i load the boat on the trailer to come home. can't get enough of that lake. i hope to revisit with her next year when she is 51 or 52. the mouth on her was the first thing i noticed when she ate the bait at the side of the boat. i new instantly it was the biggest fish i had ever seen when she started head shaking with gills all flared out. ooh, cold chills!!! wish i was there now. todd |

Location: indiana | would anyone here have an educated guess on the girth of this fish? a replica is in the way far back of my mind. i have caught a few with 19 inch girths but were much smaller fish, like 42x19. i am guessing she was pushing 30 lbs and that would put her girth at 22 using one of the formulas. is that about right? she was very thick across the back. any thoughts?? todd |
