What do you guys use to remove small tar spots on your fiberglass rigs? I'm pretty sure gas will remove it but I want something that won't damage the glass.

I use bassboatsaver on my BassCat. I just cleaned a bunch of tar off the hull after dragging it home to KY from Vermilion. The tar came right off, I was really surprised. Now, using the BBS ever time I pull it out of the water probably kept the tar from sticking really good so your results may vary if you didn't have any type of wax on the hull to start with. Hope this helps.

If you have a serious stain try acetone. Wax the area you cleaned right away after cleaning.
