Location: indiana | this is not a giant like the one from georgian bay but a giant to my wife who has only fished for muskies a total of about 8 hours. we were fishing in a little bay of an island on lake of the x woods and had gone completely through a cabbage bed when i heard her scream "oh my gosh, theres one!" i turned to see the fish just sitting there on the surface looking at her spinnerbait. i told her to move the bait because she was froze up. she did a perfect textbook figure I and the fish followed it back and forth about 4 times. i then told her to speed it up and she made a good loop and put some speed into it and the fish came unglued and ate the bait. she was screaming "what do i do now, what do i do now!!" as i got the net and scooped it up. she was trying to get her heart rate under control while i measured the fish and then handed it over to her for the picture. she was not to enthusiastic about even touching this thing with the big teeth that just scared the daylights out of her. she gave in and made her husband proud to see her handle the fish like a pro. here is the picture of her 41 3/4 inch musky. todd

| Congratulations Kasey! Great first fish.
Although it appears, in the picture, that "bonding" with the fish may be a ways in your future, it's a start! |

Location: Lafayette, IN | When Todd called me about Kasey's fish the first thing my wife said was, "Well, she's ruined it for you and Todd!"
Thankfully, Kasey claims she's over it.
(We'll see...)
Great job guys. Congratulations! I'm glad you had such a memorable trip. |
