Just looking for some ideas on the different BIG deep diving cranks that are out there now days. I'm looking for ones that have bodies without the lip measureing 10"-15". Theres the Wishmaster, Hookers, Talonz, Frankie Baits and Perrywinkles which are a few that come to mind right off the get go but what are some others?

Thanks
Tim

I was very impressed with the Mag Shads by Tackle Industries when I tested them out. The body of the bait is 11". There's a deep diver and a twitcher and they both look great in the water. I really like the Twitcher for my purposes. But the deep diver will be a great trolling bait for those that want to get down to that 20 foot range, maybe a tad deeper.

A basement bait builder out East (PN) makes some! Willing to bet there are a lot of guys just like him that make some great baits that you never hear about.

Thanks for the replies guys. I really like the looks of of the 6" Slammer with the shad style body, thats what fishes well for me. The longer slender body like the 10" doesnt seem to get it done aswell. Doesnt anyone know if Legend has a web site? I had a couple of their Outcasts which caught fish when they were shallow or off a down rigger in open water but never tried any of their deep diving stuff. As far as the Mann's stuff goes Micah, I've used the 30+ and caught fish on them but they pull harder than just about any other bait I've ever run. Reeling up a 50+ would have to be something like having a magnum sized dispy on your line that wouldnt release. Anyone know who CiscoKid might be talking about?

Thanks again
Tim

Legend does not have a website, take a look at the perchbaits also. They run real real real nice and are a deep diver just a bit smaller than plows.

10" Hooker, Franky Bait, Ferris Bait, 10" Tuff Shad, Brett's Baits, Hose Bait, Super Natural, Depth Masters. You can get a 13" Believer down and scratching bottom 16-18' with wire no problem. 13" Grandma is another big target that you can pull deep also, and they sell them everywhere. Legend Baits are about the best I've used, they all run perfect and there simply isn't anything in their design or materials that can fail (ie: seams/welds, screw eyes, even the eyes are painted on, no stickers). Plow and 10" Hooker are my two favorites. Travis is right, some of the best ones are the ones you never hear about, small-batch stuff from basements and sheds.
