Subject: Overcharging a battery


I forgot I had my trolling motor battery on the charger. Just pulled it off after 60 hrs or so. It reads fully charged but is the battery shot now?

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin		Maybe not. Your charger may have reduced the input as the charge began to top off. Run it, and see!

I think it depends on the charger. I leave my batteries on the charger all the time with no ill effects on the batteries.
