I broke the tip off my 8'6" rod from Keith Custom Edge rod yesterdsy. I love this rod and will want to get it repaired/replaced. The problem is that I am leaving for a 10 day trip August 14 and need a rod to use. I used this for DCG's and top water. Suggestios???

Thanks!!

It depends how much of the tip is broke, if it's only an inch or two put a new tip on it, if it's more than that go buy a new rod.

You have plenty of time to send it back for just a tip repair!

It's like 5 inches of the tip. Not really fixable. Need suggestions on a new rod that I could get in the next few weeks.

Thanks

oh man , sorry about that man.. keith might be able to fix it but it wont be the same.. i would say to pick up another rod from someplace the okuma's or croix whatever. and let keith fix your rod im sure the action will be different though and a little shorter but you can still use the rods for other baits.. just my 2 cents....bill

I have been tring to get ahold of Keith at Professional Edge for quite some time now. He will not return my calls so i don't think he would be able to get it done for you.. Has anyone else have this problem right now?

My brother was having a lot of trouble getting ahold of Keith as well about 2 months ago. He must be really busy and/or out of town a lot.
