So who do I call in the Madison area about tagged fish? I tried the Madison office and got a fishery biologists desk and he has not called me back yet. Any ideas? We caught one on Wingra #094 and one on Waubesa #143. Both fish were 37" think they were from the same batch?

I caught a 40 in Wingra a few years back, called in with the tag # and got this e mail back a few days later:

--------------------------------------

quick look reveals we caught her on 3/30/2004 ...we measured her at 37.3 " and 11.81 lbs...in Wingra...now you know

Intereresting... I've never caught a tagged one before. It would be kinda cool to see the measurements/weight that were previously taken.

Either had I until this year there have been three to visit my boat. Unfortunately the one I should have gotten the tag number off of I was so excited because it only had one eye I forgot to get the number. Would have been cool to see if it was missing the eye when tagged.
