Location: crivitz, wi | When do most of your hits come on this style bait?
First few pulls, in the middlle or at the very end?

Location: crivitz, wi | I seem to get almost all at the end unless I am fishing very cold water
in late fall and then I am fishing them 30ft or deeper most of the time.
Just curious if thats how others are doing.

| All my luck on the curly sues has happened pretty much under the boat, I work it deep until it gets to the boat and then jig it. |

Location: South Portsmouth, KY | Its been weird this year. Usually i have all my hits at boatside but this year all of my hits have been way out on the cast within the first couple rips. |

Location: Twin Cities | All the way from the first pull to the last. But 95% hit right at the end of a pull, regardless of how far from the boat. Keeping good slack control, or lack there of, makes all the difference in the hookup. |

| My hits on this bait come from start to finish and everywhere in between.
I think it really depends on the mood of the fish at the time, from day to day it really never seems to be the same. |

Location: Medford, WI | As Kawartha Kid mentioned, we get hits all the way from the beginning of the first pull to the figure-8 at the boat and at any point in between. Many of our hits come right at the beginning of a pull. Also, it usually depends on the day...if fish are super-active, we find them taking the bait head-first during the pull and not so much on the pause.
