I was infected with the musky virus on July 3rd in a BAD way......pretty sure my life will never be the same again now. Boated a 45 and a 51 within 30 minutes of each other after 7 other encounters that night....truly unbelievable night on the water. Red Double Cowgirl was the $$ bait for both. My buddy that took me told me about this site - WOW! Amazing site. I've basically spent the last 10 days totally obsessed with these fish and have managed to accumulate a nice pile of lures, rods, and a few other wicked Musky toys and am going on my first solo outing tonight!

Just wanted to say hi, hope to hang out a lot in here and learn from you all!

Thanks!

You will never be the same! Great fish and good luck in the future. The sickness is all encompassing. Let me tell you about my phone conversation yesterday afternoon.
Buddy "You meeting us at the launch?"
TB "Well my shoulder is still sore (from casting), need to do laundry (no time), been falling way behind on sleep lately (fish till 11pm, work at 7am), girlfriend is pissed we haven't been hanging out much, not so sure I should tonight."
Buddy "So I'll see you at the launch?"
TB "I will be there by 5"

Then we made it rain. IA2TP

Welcome to the board. If you ever want to fish the brainerd area I am normally out 5 or 6 days a week. I almost always have an open seat.

Great way to get started into the money drain. Nice catch and hope to see you on the water, I'm the guy with too many baits and a virgin net.

I can already hear myself...now i just need a local die hard partner to go with who has a cool wife that mine can hang out with! That always makes these kinds of things easier....been at it for a while now with every other passion I have.

When I got to bed at midnight last night after my first solo outing I just smiled...and thought...I could to this every night....
