What is your average length of fish caught on a pounder, and how commonly do you catch fish 38-42 inches on them? I don't own any pounders and I fish Kinkaid in Southern Illinois more than any other lake. The lake has a good population of fish, but it is not what you would call trophy water. Do you think spending a lot of time chunking pounders on a lake where there are not many fish over 44 makes sense, or should I stick to smaller sizes?

Thanks,
Micah

I was chucking Pounders last weekend in deep water off the breaks and had an upper 30 inch pike eat it and others take a good look. The pike I caught had no problem fitting the head of the Pounder in it's mouth. By the way, the Pounder was made in the new rubber,,, held up great!

Maybe my 6th or 7th cast on a MegaD this year in Canada and I had a 34" pike T-bone it. I don't think most fish have a problem trying to put one of the big swibaits down...

Considering I've had fishin the low to mid 20"s eat Mag's I dont think it would be an issue if the fish were aggresive.
