I've seen/have just about all of them. "GO FISH" by Redfin Outdoors is my favorite. Awesome boatside and surface strikes. And alot of the footage is in the shield...Another must have is Muskies on the Shield. I like Badfish Outdoors Muskie Madness I and III also.

I still haven't seen "GO FISH", but I've never watched a Badfish DVD that I didn't like! Judging by the Redfin's previews for GO FISH, I'm sure I'm missing out - looks awesome!

The Go Fish video decimates all that I've ever seen before... except for any segment with Mark Lijewski.

The Gregg Thomas videos are my favorites by far. I enjoy seeing fish caught but when I watch a video I want to learn something and I think Gregg does the best job at that. The fact that he spends time on the video doing "classroom" segments is pretty cool. Now if you just want to watch people catch fish the Go Fish video is excellent.

Kieper’s “Small Pond Monsters” has become my favorite. Good tunes, and some great fishing action.

Give me anything where the main guy teaches how he's catching his muskies. Muskie porn, the stuff where guys are just catching muskies bores me and the instruc. vids usually have as many muskie catches anyways. If I learn one thing from a vid it was a good buy. I like anything by the lindners, saric, heiting & thomas. I gave my copy of go fish to my club's library after watching it once. The badfish vids have some really good action but what they call edgy comes across as unprofessional and I ask myself why I'm watching it.

Bob Mehsikomers "Close incounters of the right kind" is pretty entertaining. It's footage of follows/misses/ lost fish. There are some pigs on there.

well lets just say this.. anything with musky in it is awsome.. even regular movies with a split second ski on the wall is cool.. like a cartoon one on the wall over the fire place in the shrek movie and on adam sandlers shirt in 50 first dates and many more.. heck i came in on my wife watching a girly movie on the women channel and 2 ladies were talking in a bar and over the sholder was a ski on the wall.. guess i picked a right time to walk in the room...any way my personal favorits are big blades and scott keiper's small pond monsters and both gregg's and badfishes.. i think i have every musky movie ever made.. even a copy of the hoor flick blood hook and the early dated pete maina / john gillespe way back i think it was out waybefore the ones you see now in the shops.. anyway any musky porn is great...bill

Some of you guys do realize that via power of observation all video's are instructional? Just because someone isn't telling you exactly how to do something doesn't mean you can't learn a lot...

Another vote for the Badfish series videos. I have one of Gregg's and he does an excellent job instructing what it is he does....and that is, catching fish. I have to go back and watch the Heiting DVD's I have; but from what I remember they were also pretty instructional for specific techniques. Muskies on the Shield is a pretty good one and I've only got to see "Go Fish" once but it was definitely a good one.

Badfish Outdoors videos have the best, quality footage and great editing and music. Jason does a great job with everything that goes unnoticed by many and I'm really excited to see their next video.

Gregg has two of them. Blueprints to Musky Success is his first one. And his second one which came out this year is Early Season Ideas: Spring Muskies. Both are excellent.

Loved the In The Zone Outdoors video, pretty cool to see a few tactics in depth and some big Wisco lunges throughout. Cool soundtrack too. I'll be looking out for the next video they produce, some of the hunting/ice fishing stuff in the preview at the end of S.P.M. looked pretty dang awesome!

Go Fish dvd certainly bring you a lot of action and awesome clips. however I prefer more informative dvd's of fish caught in tougher situations like heavily pressured areas and more difficult fishing situations

Kieper's Small Pond Monsters Gets the nod. Great action ALL from fish caught in NW Wisconsin. Insruction on topics of sucker fishing, trolling and casting. Plus some sweet tunes thrown in for good measure. Hard to beat this one.

I like the Pure Musky Productions?? 2 hour plus DVD. I won it in a muskies Inc raffle and liked the fact that these two 'kids' fished primarily Vilas/Oneida cty's and seemed to do very well. Lots of action, seem like everyday guys who still get pumped about a mid 30's fish, like the rest of us, and are fishing waters most of us from WI have fished. I recommend it, change of pace from the 50"ers that seem to come on every other cast in MN.

There are so many great videos out there I just got Greg Thomas' new video as well as Go FISH. Red fin outdoors should sell them as a set. Both are the best for what they are.

Greg seems to be the newest guy to reach superstar status in the musky world, the likes of Joe Bucher, and Pete Mania. His instructional stuff is amazing.

Jerry on Go Fish is awesome as well. It is good to see a slightly newer figure on the horizon put out an action video, that's heads and tails above the rest.

I think we outside of MN are slightly bitter because of the quality of management and saturation of amazing fisheries there. There is a ton of pressure out there though, and these guys wade through it. I've seen first hand both of these guys catch monster fish behind 2 or 3 other boats.

The reason a lot of these videos are chalked full of 50 inch MN fish attests to the fisheries, and the quality of fisherman there. Some of the guides up in MN are musky machines. Guy's like Thomas, Sondag, Hoppe, Jonesi, Luke R. and Hamernik, are as close to automatic as it comes when catching big fish. You can't fault a video for having superior talent stomping out big fish after big fish.

If I had more time and money, I would spend my seasons jumping in and out of each of their boats.

Most of the greats have already been mentioned but one that I also liked was a video from Mike Keyes. I think it was called "Slime Time." It was a little different than most dvd's. They did a wilderness trip in upper Wisconsin where they needed big 4x4's to get to the landing. Then they floated down a very narrow river boating several small muskie's until Mike hooks a 50...never would have thought a fish that big would have came out of that river. Pretty cool video though.

Go fish is the best video I never seen, great quality and very good footage, the bad fish series is next in line, they look like they are actually having fun which is what the sport is all about, I hate when someone catches a big fish on video and their emotions are just dull? that don't make sense to me, its like they are not even happy.

one of my absolute favorites is badfish outdoors musky town documentry. A lot of good info and the interviews with all the guides and fisherman are really cool. And of course the fishing video is amazingggg. Another good thing about the badfish outdoors videos is they are really funny. When i try and explain the jokes to my non fishing friends they dont laugh, so i guess it some really good fishing humor! KEEP THE VIDEOS COMING BADFISH OUTDOORS!!!

Hey Jim, thanks for the Kudos. And thanks everyone for the thumbs up on Go Fish. We worked and fished really hard to put that thing together. I was hoping to put the sequel out this winter but it may have to wait another year. Too many guiding cancellations to afford it.

To add to bigman's comment on emotion, it does make a video, heck, even an outing sour, when the guy doesn't show any emotion after catching a fish. Tonight I was fishing with my nephew, when I hooked a giant. the fish was in the air, under the boat, all over the place. Finally after it was in the bag he was teasing me. He said "after all the big fish you've caught, you still shake like a leaf".... I guess that's why I continue to do it... There's nothing better. If it ever stops exciting me, I'll quit.

My favorite DVD has always been Musky Town by BadFish. It was funny, I talked to Sloan about it and he said out of all the Badfish series that one in particular had the poorest sales. I thought it was the best.

My two favorites are Go Fish and Small Pond Monsters. Go Fish has some great boat side action and entertainment. Small Pond Monsters gives you worthy info. and proves WI has HUGE fish. Can't wait to see the next videos they put out.

My favorite are not DVDs, but my favorite muskie video's (can't remember the titles right now) are the ones where they interview the old musky guides. I looked at Rollie and Helen's Magazine last night and don't see them carried anymore. Too bad, because they give the younger guys a little perspective on things.

I just fished last weekend with Greg and Matt from Pure Musky Productions and we landed 4 musky in two days. Many other strikes and follows. These guys know Musky. We landed a 45", a 38" a 34" and one little 25". It was a blast. We fished North and South Twin Lake in Phelps, WI.

I highly recommend them.
