Can anyone tell me how wide the Down Easter Clamp-Ons are when opened to their widest? Are there other quality clamp-on rod holders? Thanks!

I'm not sure on the exact measurement. But they don't open wide enough to mount on the gunnels of my 1650 Crestliner Fish Hawk. Maybe 2 1/2"?

Thanks, Aaron. I thought they'd maybe be a bit small. Gotta go McGiver and figure out some way to mount them (can't permanently affix them).

Just measured mine they only open 2"
