Just wondering what you guys use to store your "Pounders" in? I'm having a hard time finding a box or anything to accomodate them.

Thanks
Tim

I'm storing mine in a couple monster planos, It holds 6-8 depending on how you stick them in there.

I love the open 3700 series Plano boxes too. Very nice for the big plastics. I think I have about 50 now.

i use a Flambeau TuffTainer 7004R double-deep.

perfect for big baits of all kinds, plus has the rust-inhibitor in the dividers.
16.50" x 9.75" x 3.25"

Thanks guys. I think I'll look for the some of those 3730's. I'm using a thinner version of them (about 2" deep) for my Mags and regular BullDawgs but I didn't know they made one that deep. I asked at our local shop if there was something deeper and just got an "I dunno" from the guy.

Thanks again
Tim

How about one of these? Great boxes and you can see everything in it.

Current ClearView Case lineup for 2009 from Just Encase with specs. Hope this helps.
Most will fit Pounders.

I don't want to jump in after justencase as they make awesome stuff. But I already have a great bag to store baits vertically, so on the advice of someone on here, I use vinyl gutter downspout cut to length, and a Pounder fits perfectly in the 2"x3" downspout; like it was made for it. So if you're wanting to do it on the cheap...

+1 for the Plano 3730.

I just bought a couple of these from Fleet Farm. They're only $6 and seem to do the trick!

I don't own a pounder, but I have a clearview box from Bob at Just Encase that I've loaded up with some 14" jakes for trolling. This one has 32 slightly bigger dividers than the standard 36 for that model. At my request, Bob didn't put lids on my boxes.

I like the 3731 for the pounders and the 3730 for all others. The 3731 features only one large compartment and will hold about eight pounders. The 3730 will hold up to 16 mag-dawgs if you stack them carefuly but it holds 12 with ease. The nice thing about these boxes is they fish into under deck storage.

That's awesome info.
Looks like I'll need to get a few 3731s, too.

Definitely a good option for carrying a lot of baits but it does take up a lot of room in the boat. If one has the room in his or her boat then it is a very good way to store lots of dawgs, but if one doesn't have the room then the plano boxes are the way to go as they can be stored under the boat deck.
