| Looking for a spot to host annual fall musky hunt. It will be 10-12 guys. For lodging we would prefer one large home or cabin that can sleep all of us. As for the lake, looking for the holy grail, numbers and size. Chance for a trophy would be more important than numbers. Many of the guys like to fish suckers.
We stayed at Sunrise on Lac Vieuz Desert last year in Executive I. Had a dynamite time and caught some hawgs. We would like to try a different spot this year. Were thinking about Lac Courte Orielles at Trail's End resort in their giant, executive cabin, but they close before our trip.
We will be going up the weekend of October 17th. Need lodging from Thursday night through Saturday night.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

| Andy Meyers Lodge. No question. I believe they have cabins big enough for that number.

Good Luck!

| Andy Meyer's lodge is a great place, I have been there twice. However, I was looking for something in Northern Wisconsin to keep the drive time to a minimum. |

Location: Ogden, Ut | I'd contact Adam at Skyview Lodge in Presque Isle. If he can't set you up w/ lodging I'd be pretty surprised. Depending on what he has available, you can end up on any number of lakes up there that offer what you request and still have the flexibility to trailer to dozens of others in the area.

I have spend many summer at trails end, you can call Michelle and she would probably keep it open for you. I don't know if you will run into number on LCO but local lake around could be your numbers. Their boat landing is right next to the big lodge.

Location: Minnesota | You can also check out websites that advertise private homes for rent. vrbo.com is one site - vacation rentals by owner. There are others as well.
I would support the resort industry first if you can find something that fits your needs but other homes are options as well. |

Vermilion is your "holy grail" lake with trophy fish plus numbers, and the resort is absolutely first class: all new or newly refurbished lodging, wireless internet, guide service available, etc. they have cabins and houses that can accomodate a group of your size and their fall rates are very reasonable.

Location: Smith Creek | For Sucker Fisherman Big V wouldn't be the best place to go. There are quite a few resorts in Sawyer county, pick the water you want to fish. LCO, Grindstone, Round, Eau Claire Chain and the Chip all have big fish.

| brmusky,
I asked Michelle if she could keep it open and she said "No." They close the Wednesday before we get there.
As for Vermillion, I would love to do it, but I don't think a lot of the guys would want to make the drive. |

Location: Smith Creek | Look up the Grand Pines Resort on Round lake, or Lakewoods or Garmisch resorts on Namakagon. |

I stayed in one of the smaller units and it was very nice. Very nice owners. I don’t think you will be able to get 10-12 in one unit though looking at some of the larger ones.
Lots of other places on the Manitowish Chain as well to stay. I guess it would all boil down to how much you want to spend.
Good sucker bite out there as well as artificials. Numbers and very big fish available.

| You may want to contact Rob M for a trip like this...Big Saint, and all the others close by. Not to mention that he will in all likliehood know what's going on in most surrounding area lakes as well.

| North Twin would be a pretty good bet.
North Twin Lodge has cabins side to side, which would work perfect. There is also a whole house to can rent on the north end, name slips my mind however!
Marty and Jen run it, and are great people. Great musky fishing as well. |

| Lake Namekagon - Four Seasons Resort, call Amanda Staudemeyer
She has a BIG house that will accommodate your group.
You will have a chance at a big fish plus decent numbers too.
You can also check out Lakewoods too.
LCO is definitely not a numbers lake.
Big Sissabagama might be a consideration too. |
