| Anyone used any of the new Chrome Depthraiders yet? How well does the finish hold up? Any differences on action/body holding up vs. the ROI ones? Thanks for any input. |

Location: APPLETON, WI | A buddy of mine just bought one of the new Shallow Raiders. After a few hours of casting, the finish was already flaking / peeling off. Very disappointing. He bought the "crawdad" color and after seeing that, I definitely won't be purchasing one of those lures. |

Location: Duluth MN | I bought 5 Shallow Invaders last year. They all ran nice and true. This year I picked up 3 show colors and I had to tune each one to get them to swim right. Not sure what changed but something did. I throw alot of them and I havent had one start peeling paint yet, just some teeth damage.

Shallow Invaders are made by Musky Innovations. They have a hard plastic head with a rubber tail. Do you mean Shallow Raiders? |

Big difference between the Shallow RAIDER and Shallow INVADER.
I'm thinking my buddy should write Joe Bucher about his Shallow Raider. Not sure what was up but we only fished that day from 6 a.m. - 12 p.m. and within those few hours.... the paint in the mid-section of the lure was gone. |

I'll shoot you an e-mail.
I'm not making any broad negative comments about Bucher Lures, in general. I own a Top Raider and Super Top Raider that I am quite happy with. I'm just not very impressed with the finish on the new "chrome series" shallow raiders and depth raiders. |

Location: Racine, Wi | I have one of the green/silverish ones (forget the name of the color), and it has logged about 7 hours trolling, has 2 fish to its credit and is still in great condition. There is a little hook rub on it, but that's the case with all of my trolling baits. I'm loving them so far and will pick up a bunch more for sure. |

| I picked up the blue/silver and firetiger DRs and the orange tiger shallow raider. Firetiger DR has seen the most time on the water and finish is holding up very well. Although no fish on the chromes yet for me - I love the finish and other than a little hook rash, still look like new.
I've always been a fan of the Bucher line though. |

| I tried to let people know about the deals on Roberts Outdoors Site 2 months ago and my thread was deleted. What's up with that - way better deals than overstock anyways! |
