I just wanted to see if anyone else has ahd a problem with their cordless foot pedal not having a strong enough signal to operate from the rear casting deck? I am a full time guide and havn't seemd to have a problem with it up till recently. I usually have two guys in the boat with me so I operate from the middle of the boat and allow them to have the front and rear casting decks but recently I have had one client and have been operating from the rear deck and noticed I have to have the foot pedal poited directly towards the front from the middle of the deck for it to work. Does anyone have any ideas or tricks to fix the problem? Do the hand held have a better signal??

Unplug everything and allow it to resink. One of your batteries are low. Where did you get the replacement battery???? It may get weak signal if under the counsel; on the back of the boat should work fine any where. Were your trolling motor batteries weak or low? It either works or doesn't and what you are describing is a weak battery.
