Does the one eyed willie have the same action as the weagle? If so which is the better bait, if not what is the difference between the two?

I have both. The One Eyed Willie is 'slower' for me, doesn't behave like the Weagle when I snap it along. It seems to ride lower in the water, and makes a ton of commotion out there. I'm sure it'll produce very well for me.

There is no BETTER, they each have the own time and place! The one eye imo is more like the old Cady Weagles they ride lower in the water than my mojo weagle. I think the One eye has more of the deeper swoosh, like Cady's version. The Mojo sits higher but not like a jackpot. I can work the Mojo faster kinda like a search walk the dog....they both work and they both catch fish buy one of each and be done!

Buy one of each and be done with it! Great advice. What's more fun than buying one topwater is buying two! If you are looking for that same low riding deep swoosh action that a weagle or one-eyed willy gives you but want a downsized version you should check out the new JR one-eyed willy. I picked one up this spring and love it. It is 7" long and the same diameter as the bigger willy. It comes with two 5/0 eagle claws too. Many fish were put in the boat this spring on the new JR. The biggest Madison fish I heard of on the JR was a 45" a couple of weeks ago. I think Rollie's still has some left.

Dorn's on Midavale just got restocked on both the regular and junior one eyed Willie's. Good selection of various colors and I picked up a regular one in black.
Can't wait to try it out on the Madison Chain this week. Do you fish them fast or slow?

Normally pretty slow but you can go as fast as you want depending on what the fish want. Slow is just a personal preference.
