I have a 1996 Mercury 150 EFI that I got this spring. Haven't had any problems with it yet, but yesterday I noticed that it beeped a couple times when it wasn't on. Basically what happened was I'd run to a spot, turn it off, be fishing for a while, then it would beep somewhere between 6 and 10 times. I assume this means something, but it didn't persist and I've never heard it before. Is this something to be concerned about?

Thanks,

Chris

I added oil before I went out yesterday, there is at least a gallon and a quarter in there now, I try not to run that too low. I'll check the stream next time out to make sure I didn't suck something in.
