| Spent a little over 4 hours on Tonka this morning in my 14' Lund until I got run off the water by sailboats and pleasure boaters. It was pretty windy. I raised one small fish just east of Breezy Point on a Mepps. Caught one Largemouth Bass on a TopRaider over in Gray's Bay. Threw a lot of different baits. As a newby I'm just learning how to work some of them. Its going to be a long learning curve. Oh well, maybe I will get lucky a few times in the process. Didn't see anyone else pull any muskies in the boat either. This was my first trip to Tonka. Hopefully I can make it up there from Rochester,MN again this summer. Still want to hit French Lake some more as well as Independence.[:p] | |
