Location: madison wisconsin		I'm trying to get a reel for my wife for fishing ski's and I realized that I have an older Abu toro, not the revo, that I got a great deal on a few years ago. You guys think it would stand up to handling small bucktails and topwater? Thanks

Location: Kentucky		Whats the worse thing that could happen? The gears strip out and then you have to buy a new reel?

I'd try it first and if forced to buy a new reel you'll have your answer.
