Hello fellow muskie fisherman. I am heading out to Whitefish Bay on July the 6 and staying till July 13. Just want to know how the action has been out there and any tips on spots, lures, and presentations.

Thanks in advance for all the advise.

I fish from that area through the Narrows into Regina Bay. In fact, I am headed there for a week end of this month! I do very well on Surface in the evenings and mornings, gliders all the time, and Spinnerbaits/Bucktails in the small weedy bays and on the reefs.

I fish every reef and bay I see. Look at the red and green cans and the structure around them. Also, the water is really clear there, so make LONG casts, staying back from the edge. Otherwise, you'll get quite a few follows, many that spook at the boat.

Hope this helps![:sun:]

Hi Steve,

I missed your reply. I concentrated out in White fish and around bell Island. I was staying at Regina bay lodge. I will try that next time I am out there. Thanks for the help. You must tell me how you did when you come back.

Hey Cory,

I only had one one. That was while speed trolling across a reef at about 20 ft. Did not see any after that. caught lots of nice pike though in the 30" and up. Still learning the game though. Whitefish is pretty tough in the summer from what I heard from some of the guides.
You might want to check Steve's advice and concentrate in Regina bay. I did not do that.

Tell me how you do.
