| Just got home from fishing the Minnesota opener (COLD). I had a chance to play with some of my new toys today. I was throwing this new glider bait which is my first and am curious the correct way to work this bait? It seems to have very little action! I was straight retriving the bait and twitching? Any opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks! |

| Just small taps with the rod and she should dance, you might have been reeling it in to fast. Give it some time to dart out to the side and hang there before your next tap. |

Location: Chicago, IL | like muskerboy said small taps
i like to do a short quick flick of the wrist.....pause and let the bait swing out before twitching again, try not to work it too fast
i have also found that a wire leader the same length as the bait works well too
i use a split spring instead of a snap allowing the bait to swing to the side easier
i also use a medium action rod when tossing it
it is a great bait, give it another chance
