| Is it to early to consider row trolling this time of year in Northern WI? Are the big girls out in the abyss yet and ready to chase big lures? |

Location: Wausau | I am not a row troller', but IMO fish are suspended. However the thermocline is not established yet so you may need to explore different depths. Also consider "why" fish may suspend in relationship to where/what and if the variable is bait-fish, it's important to know the characteristics of such species. Like others say "put the pieces of the puzzle together" and knowledge is key.

| It is never to early or to cold (water temp) to row troll. I have a report from some one I trust and respect that has already caught five legals from 35"-45" in Vilas Co.
I will be up this weekend for the Bob Ellis Rowing Classic on Saturday. We meet at the Skyview in Presque Isle at 8 am and fish until 4 pm. After, we meet for drinks and dinner. | If you talk to Patricia Strutz it is, suprised to see the Bob Ellis classic. They should all do very well.
