| I want to buy a rod for double cowgirls but won't spend the money for the Slingblade. Will a Premier PM76HF or a PM80HF do a decent job with that type of lure? They have the same oz. rating & action as the Slingblade but not the length.
Thanks. |

Location: Apple Valley | I use the PM80HF with no problems. If you can find the 8' St.Croix avid thats also a great rod for throwing cowgirls. I use both and love them.

Location: Hayward, WI | I am having a Premier built by Keith at Pro Edge on the 8'0" H blank. He's building it out to 8'6" for me. He told me that this is a great double 10 blank, and that its action and power are very similar to the Slingblade.
I'll have to tell you how it works when I get it!
Between the 7'6" and 8'0" I would get the 8 footer for sure.

Location: Yahara River Chain | Get the 8' or better yet 8'6" you'll like the extra length. I am using the Okuma EVX series rod in the 8 1/2 footer XH and simply love the length of it. Flings them out there and great for figure 8s. |
