I was wondering which brand reel oil everyone prefers. I have one that's squealing. I have used quantum hot sauce before and liked it. Just wondering if there were any out there that are better

I like to use one brand of oil and grease, and HOT SAUCE is the one I use, it lasts long time in the bearings and when you grease the gears, the grease will not travel around in the reel, and you can tell if you need more by the color red, Best oil and grease for reels that I have used. In the cold it will not become stiff, like a lot of other oils and grease.

Lubriplate grease is the best I have used. Hot sauce grease ends up all over the sideplates. Hot sauce oil is good stuff but not the grease. Lubriplate is FAA certified grease so it is not junk......
