| Seems things are getting better on this pond.
I took off some time for a Canada trip and family vacation and started back guiding yesterday.
Jim Stella from the South of the Border chapter of MI had a fun day in the boat.
He got to grab eight rods in a half day trip.
total:
Muskies
41,37,34,32
Pike
34,33,30,30
The funny thing is, I had only four pike in the boat all year, and then we boated four yesterday. Pike are not too common in my lake anymore, muskies out number them 10 to 1.

| Jason,
Thanks again for Saturday afternoon. What an awesome day, 8 fish, 4 muskies 4 pike, three of them coming in a half hour period. The smallest fish was 30" the largest was 41". If any of you guys are looking for a good time on the water, regardless of whether or not you catch fish, give Jason a call, you'll have a great time. Again thanks for a great and busy afternoon.

| You did a great job Jim. I have had lots of muskies lost in my boat trolling this summer and you did an excellent job handling the fish.
Jim had alot of his fish comming to the surface, he lowered his rod tip and did not allow the fish to jump. Thats the way it is done. He also took his time and did not over crank the fish in.
You did not get a crack at big hog like you did last year, but lots of fun anyways. Hope you have a great season.

| Stuck a mid thirtys fish last night, lost two more. One was a good fish, but thats life.
Had a bonus drive by, A speed boat with two hot girls showed off there assets to all the fisherman on the lake. That was the first time I have ever asked a speed boat to do a drive by up close.[]

| After Smokeys Yard sale today, Scott Jenkens took off in his boat and me and Mark H took off in my boat. Mark and myself fished for an hour and caught a 38". But Scott stuck in out in the rain and stuck a
nice 44".
Was a pleasure to fish and meet you Mark H. Hope you had a safe trip back to Eau Claire.
Great job Scott,[]

| After not having my boat for two weeks, it felt great to be back in the saddle. Word to the wise - don't run over stumps with your boat. Reaks havoc and leaves you boatless..............
Jason - you forgot to mention that you were showing off with the 38" you caught.
I was monkeying around in my boat about 30 feet from Jason and Mark when the 38"
eats Jason on a figure eight. Jason gives a whistle and I look up to see his rod doubled over and a huge grin on his face. That'll teach me to get to a spot unprepared. I was just happy to be out in the boat again. Good job Jason and Mark!
There's nothing better than standing around talking fishing for most of the day and then going out and popping one. The 44" put up a great battle. It came out of the water and cartwheeled about four different times. I did also catch a scrappy little 24" musky which was good to see.
The yard sale at Smokey's is a great time. Hopefully the weather cooperates next year and we can get more people to come out. Unbelievable deals! I think the best deal of the day (almost anyway) was when someone almost walked away with one of Jason's $130 rod and reel combo's for $30.

Scott, if you get serious about the Nestle thing we talked about I'll do what I can to help...Tough decision, sounds like you have a good thing going. You ever end up here in god's country the "ski's" won't have a prayer with us tag-teaming them..[;)]
