I bought a 2005 Crestliner 1850 cmv. It sits on a bunk trailer that I am having problems getting in and out off some landings because the one cross piece sits very low and drags. Just wondering if any one has any ideas on what I can do to maybe modify the trailer to raise it up or any other suggestions would be helpful?

I bought a second draw bar for my receiver. For towing I used a 3" drop. At the problem ramps I swapped to a 2" raise. It made a big difference.

I also considered flipping my where my axle mounted on the leafsprings. That would have given me a 4" lift on the trailer. Ended up getting a new boat for other reasons so never ended up doing this though.

thanks for the suggestions. I did get another hitch. It's a "masterlock adjustable height ball mount " It has about 8" of adj.
Tried it out tonight at the one landing I was having issues with and it worked, but not by much. Theres just to much slope at the landing.
Anyone else that is having that problem I got the " ball mount hitch" at Advanced Auto Parts.

Thanks again,

Brian
