| I am new to the sport and I would like to know what is the best jerk bait out there. The bobbie baits and the Big Daddy look pretty sweet are they good? |

| I agree with Mr. Matt. Suicks are still catching a ton of fish. Suicks and Big and Lil' Daddy's can both effectively be worked through the weeds with practice because both have a round nose and are dive and rise jerkbaits. if you are looking for side to side action, there probably isn't an easier bait to learn with than the Phantom.

| Thanks Guys for the info. One more question the Big Daddy has that big lexan lip in the front one would think this jerk bait is able to dive farther than the rest is that true? How far? |

| The Big Daddy's can easily get down to 10 feet. Because it has a slow rise, you can fish it more shallow than that if you want to. If you are looking to go deeper, you might try the Lil' Daddy. It's 3 inches smaller than the Big Daddy so it is less buoyant and can get down a little further in the water column.

Dive and rise: Suicks or bobbie- hot belly color is a good one! |

| The suick is definitely the way to go. Still the best out there and the new 12 inchers are just amazing |

Location: Ontario | I'm probably the last Bobbie fan on earth. I can get the 12" and 9" to thump back and forth like a crankbait on any kind of fwd sweep or pull and they're better casting in the wind than Suicks. I absolutely love Suicks (agreed, the new 12" looks just nasty, long time coming) but I've caught hundreds of fish of all species and sizes on Bobbie Baits, there's no way I could choose one over the other if I had to. You never hear much about Bobbies anymore, another old school bait that's been totally lost in the shuffle but one that's never gone anywhere in terms of putting up numbers. I have one Big Daddy and like it, too. Wood pull baits are deadly!! |

Location: Price County WI | Go Bobbie, I'm still old school too I guess. They work great over weeds and with practice they do have a good side to side sweep, for a chop bait that is.

| Suicks and Bobbies are both great, I just picked up some Bobbies and they work great for over the top of shallow weeds. |
