My question is what is everyones fave bulldawg rod for throwing regular 'dawgs? Not interested in throwing pounders so just regular 'dawgs and super d's.

Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | For reg dawgs, I like the Slingblade - It can handle mags as well. I like the way the rod loads in the slow pull / retrieve. For ripping and hard popping regs & mags, I like either the St. Croix Big Dawg (XH) or the 8' HF Premier. The heavier action + faster tip really benefit you when working dawgs fast and abrupt. |
