Wonder how many folks were brave enough to get out on Mille Lacs today? Must have made for some interesting fishing, or trying to fish.

TRIED to fish a place called Brusky Creek Lake today, but the winds were gusting up around 30MPH, and it was a COLD NW wind. It was like taking an all day beating trying to fight the boat and stay warm. .
There's a lot of standing timber in this lake, and the wind kept blowing the bucktail into the wood, to add insult to injury. That game got a little old. But...when you're just a weekend warrior like me, you take what you get for weather. Saw one Ski, but put none in the boat.

Where I was on Saturday, there were 'dust devils' sucking up water off the spray of the whitecaps---crazy wind shifting directions every few seconds....
I'll follow up with a more detail report in the next couple of days, but in a quick summary...
10 tournament legal muskies were caught on Saturday and 4 were caught on Sunday. These fish ranged from 34 1/4 to 40 1/2 inches. Seven undersize muskies and nine walleye were also boated during the two days. Walleyes ranged from 21-28 inches.
