A friend of mine has been trying small glow sticks on his baits at night. He has had no luck in the few times he's tried. Does anyone use these things with results ?

Thanks,
Dinver

All of my baits have a piece of glow tape stuck to them on the top of the head. I also run a glow bead above the leader on my line. The glowing aspect isn't as beneficial as it is to simply have a stop of some sort so that I'm not running a leader up into my line guides.

Ulbian nailed that one on the head. A glow bead above the leader to avoid over-winding.

We also have a glow leader with the bead built on the leader. I am actually working with Dan at Glowin Outdoors to find a way to get his glow technology on our beads so they last longer. Dans stuff is amazing!

Hi Dinver,
If you are looking for a better solution than a glow stick on your bait, my Glowin' Outdoors product can be trimmed anyway that you want to cut it. You can put a big dot on the top of the bait or a couple of dots on a bucktail blade and it will last for hours. Include this with a Stealth Night Leader and you'll have the best of both worlds!

The nice thing about Stealth's Night Leaders is that the glow bead is incorporated INTO the leader. I used to try a glow bead on the line above the leader and never had much luck keeping it from slipping down the line when you would cast.
