Ok,,
I've noticed that some of the best Guides have quite a good "network" of other people to feed them info on what is happening out on the water at any given time.

As a client I want my Guide to be "Dialed in" on what's happening right now.

So, here's my question....... With out cell phones and their net work groups, would some of these guys be less successful and famious ?? And for new guides starting out, the learning curve would be easier with a network of poeple feeding the new guy info right?

Cell phones HAVE REALLY made a big difference in the way we fish, and where we fish, Don't some of you agree ?

By the way I am pro-guide, I just think that it's very different than 20 years ago, and the cell phone HAS made all of our lives easyer.

Jerome,
You are correct sir!!! But then again, there are a few that still do it the old fashioned way.......hard work and time on the water. Much more gratifying that way but perhaps a little larger learning curve . The network in Minnesota is HUGE for those in the "network", but it's all about catching 50's isn't it????? Or is it???

Steve,
Does that mean I can plug you into my "net work" LOL...I'll look you up for a few.

Net working HAS eliminated a lot of work for some people, but I think you STILL have to figure some things out on your own.... When I first started muskie fishing, I didn't have a clue for about a year or so and WORKED unproductive water using unproductive methods..... A lot of wasted time.

Cell Phones and Networking has changed that for a lot of people... Is that good ?? or bad??

Look forward to seeing you Steve, Sled, my treet.... (sp) lol
