My buddy Jerry Wilson popped this 52 incher on Thursday. I would say that he will not soon forget this one. It seems he had some extra excitement while battling this beast. When he got the fish in the net, the dog decided that he would help Jerry get the hooks out, so the dog tried to jump in the net with the fish. LOL After some help from the locals, the fish and the dog were safe. LOL Way to go Man!!

WOW,
Nice fish..... A crazy dog in the boat may not be the best idea, and could be dangerious for the fish, dog, and angler.

Some people fish all of the time with there pets on board with no problems.

I've had a few dogs that I would never put on the boat because of the havoc that they would create.

Anyway, Great catch !

That does look like a BIG fish (and a pretty good sized dog too). I certainly won't question 52 inches!

Thanks guys. Thats not my O face by the way. Turns out I fractured a rib and have a few contusions from leaning off side of boat. I'll be off the water for a little while but it was worth it!
