I'm trying to fix a jerkbait that always blows up on the surface. It's hard to explain which side, but as i'm looking at my lure coming towards me as I reel it in, it blows up on the left hand side, breaking the surface and fouling the action.
I have been told that all i need to do is file down the lip of the lure. the question is, which side of the lip to I file down?

I believe it's a 5" big game twitchbait. so I would like to be able to at least use it as a twichbait, but also troll it. it's a great looking bait, but unfortunately, I can't use it yet! please help me out with this if you have any suggestions.

Thanks,
Willis

Bend the line tie in the direction you want the lure to run. In other words, hold the big game twitch bait with the nose facing you and bend the line tie to the right. Do it in small increments until the lure tracks true. No Need to file the lip.
