Location: New Brighton, MN | I'm trying to fix a jerkbait that always blows up on the surface. It's hard to explain which side, but as i'm looking at my lure coming towards me as I reel it in, it blows up on the left hand side, breaking the surface and fouling the action.
I have been told that all i need to do is file down the lip of the lure. the question is, which side of the lip to I file down?
I believe it's a 5" big game twitchbait. so I would like to be able to at least use it as a twichbait, but also troll it. it's a great looking bait, but unfortunately, I can't use it yet! please help me out with this if you have any suggestions.
Thanks,
