Has anyone used the Musky Innovations Slither yet? Any feedback? Can they take a beating? I am thinking about picking a couple up for early season. Thanks.

I make some soft plastics similar but instead of the large flat tail I have a long ribbon tail on the bait. I found they work well in the slop but it took a while to find a hook sutable for the bait. finaly I found a 12/0 offset wormhook that is the catsass, anyways it worked for me......... Ive found it to be a better pike and lm bass bait than anything. good luck

My dad has a couple that I threw yesterday and I wasn't that impressed with them...they seem to what to come out of the water when twitched and can't be worked as quick as a kill'r eel...might take some fine tuning to get them to run right...great large profile in the water though...

I agree. They have to be fished slooooowwww! But there is a time and a place for them. Not a great search bait, but its erratic action and slow drop speed, plus the ability to be virtually weedless is a big plus.

What if you add a little egg weight to the nose with a split ring?

Thanks for the input. Yes, if I get one it would be used slowly through thick weedbeds that I could not get another soft plastic easily though. Curious if anyone else has used them. How'd they stand up to teeth?
