Does anyone happen to know how many teeth an adult muskie has on average?
No guesses ...
Thank you for your time in advance ... |

Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | That looks like remains of a musky... That cluster of front teeth is usually about and inch or so back in the roof. If I remember correctly - The front of the snout looks so blunt, it looks like it and the flesh have decayed away from the roof plate.

Location: SE Wisconsin | Jerry, you're correct. This fish was found dead and washed up - baking under the sun. Dtaijo, yes, it really is a musky. |

| Exact formula for muskie teeth= 117 teeth per square inch+120 extra teeth+ 4 or five other random teeth+ another few crooked teeth that the muskie dentist couldn't fix= a crap load of teeth. This formula has ben proven spot on by scientists and biologists alike! |

Location: Forest Lake, Mn. | Despite the amount and nastiness of the denture work in the photo. The teeth don't scare me. It's the hooks that scare me. I use a glove because of the hooks. I've been toothed. Ya bleed, so what. But I've never been hooked to a fish and I don't want to. |

I've been hooked by a treble, with two of the hooks going completely through two fingers, and I've been slashed to the point of needing stitches, and I'll agree being hooked is much much worse. |
