Took out the new boat over the weekend and couldn't get the lake master chip to show me any depths. Book said that it should automatically download the information. Was wondering if there is something I need to do to get the info to download.
Thanks for any help

I don't think the Lakemaster chips work on Humminbird. They're for Lowrance only I believe and maybe Garmin.

that's correct, for Humminbird you need Navionics chips as the Lakemaster doesn't work.

That's a fact- the Lakemaster chip won't work in a Humminbird. Some kind of twisted corporate strategy between Lakemaster & Lowrance. It's to bad, as I think Lakemaster is really limiting their market and consequently their revenue potential. I would love to have a Lakemaster chip in my HB 997SI. I really don't like the Navonics chip. But, then again I didn't buy the HB 997SI for just the Navonics GPS chip.

My buddy has a Lowrance with Navonics and when we fished the Petenwell Muskie Challenge two years ago - I bought the Lake Master chip and gave it to him. The sonar and the Lake Master were dead on together - within 1' FOW accuracy.

Have fun!
