I palm the reel and really never touch the cork except for the very back of the rod during the cast. I would think that having the cork sticky would be kind of a PITA.

We sell it at the EA store in Hayward. It is actually meant to go with the rod handle wraps. Those grips can get slippery when not coated. You wrap the butt section, handle and foregrip with the Rod Wrap and coat it with the wax to give it a coated tacky grip. It also makes the tapes edges stay flat longer rather than curling after a couple of uses.

I just got my RodWraps today for my website and Steve also sent me some of that GripWax. Put a little on and it seemed fine. It does not get onto your hands much, just make your grip real nice. I wonder if this is the same crap pro football QBs use on rainy days?
